Becky, the new date/time for the phone call with Lynette's group is the same time as our leadership meeting. If you need to miss it for that call, I understand. I'll have to send my regrets.

Becky, send Cyndi your booksigning info for the newsletter! Also we need to put it on the Ning events.

Of course not! We've had our own share of illness with my dad this spring (heart attack, pneumonia, 2 other hospital stays, and a forthcoming pacemaker). Family outranks everything else, always! Please don't worry about me. How about a day next week I come to your institute for a while? The day Amy comes? Let me know if it's OK, and I'll need some directions if it is. Keep your chin up; you're in my thought and prayers. K.

Becky, did you get the little portfolio book from St. Martin's? If so, they can bring that on my day. I use it as my textbook when I teach composition.

I would say no. We can only support teachers with contracts because the school systems expect that.

I may be able to do LMU as well. Denton said he could still get me in. I just have to make sure Bryan's free that weekend. I need some writing and ME time!

Hey, Becky! Remember that great notebook you put together for me? Do you have another copy that you could show Keela and Tammy? I'd like to have something like that from each of them at the close of their institutes.

Becky, to answer some of your questions: the syllabus doesn't have to be as detailed as long as it includes pertinent information about objectives, your contact info, special needs accommodations, etc. The 30 Ideas Books are in my office. I could try to ship them to you or let me know if there's a better way. Grace would be the one to ask about a portfolio presenter but if she doesn't have anyone, I use them and teach them.
